Out of a 2.5 week honeymoon in and around South Africa, the 4 days we spent with John touring the Cape and surrounding areas was our favorite experience! John was a delight from the moment we met him. Operationally, he was very punctual, communicative of our plans for the days, and booked us lunches and activities that were personalized to our tastes and interests. A former schoolteacher, John’s breadth of knowledge about South Africa’s history, flora and fauna, and wine industry meant that we were always learning something new while touring the area. John’s wit and worldly perspective kept us entertained the entire time we were with him, and he was great about educating us on best practices for navigating the city on our own.
